To assist correctional inmates transition from an isolated environment back into society, the Wisconsin Department of Corrections Educational Department and I have employed a variety of methods. We have found the one that stands out is a Xyte, Inc’s proven curriculum treatment system which has been very effective. We used it at six different correctional facilities where a two-day course was presented that helped each felon better understand the natural gifts they were born with and develop a career plan based on their innate strengths and appropriate education. In a very short period of time, they provided a means for the incarcerated to positively think of themselves as responsible people. …An ‘aha’ moment spontaneously clicks with each individual and they ‘get it.’ As a result, the recidivism rate from people who have taken this course is at an all-time low.

Individuals

My self-confidence has increased, and I have chosen a secondary education path and committed to my career path due to the hidden potential to be of high intelligence. I have a better understanding of some of my behaviors. I now know why I enjoy working with things using my mind as opposed to working with people. After reading about how others perceive me, it made sense why people saw me as cocky, egocentric, and overly confident. The results of the assessment were accurate and detailed. It helped to better understand some of my normal everyday behaviors and how to work and communicate better with people who are different than me.

When we receive the Cognofile results for a prospective employee, it gets sent to our Executive Team and their future Manager. For me as a Manager, it allows me to learn how my new hire communicates as well as tips as how to best manage them. Not only do I find this helpful for managing new hires, I find it intriguing to know about myself. I regularly look back at my results to help better myself. For instance, other people may see me as ‘too bossy’ or ‘too demanding,’ so after I warn individuals of this I try to take a step back and look at the big picture!”

Initially I was very skeptical of Xyte Inc.’s Insight Tools and their ability to categorize me based upon only a short list of questions. Perhaps this is due to my Analyze Cognofile!
